Photography Tips

1. Perspective: The photographer takes the shot from a position behind and slightly off to the side of the model, at a similar level height to the model. This angle captures the model's back posture while fully presenting the round terrace, surrounding vegetation, and the distant port scene in the frame, providing context to the setting. 2. Composition Technique: The rule of thirds is employed, dividing the horizontal plane into three sections—sky, water and port facilities, and foreground vegetation. Vertically, the model is positioned close to the right third of the frame. The curved railing of the terrace acts as a leading line, directing the viewer's gaze towards the distant port, enhancing the sense of depth in the image. The contrast between the foreground vegetation and the background industrial facilities highlights the integration of the main subject, the model, with the environment. 3. Lens Usage: A mid-telephoto lens is used for shooting. This compresses the background port facilities while keeping the foreground vegetation and the model in clear focus, with the background appropriately blurred.
